T ball

It's official, Carson had his first t-ball practice and we got a glimpse into the next 20 ish years of our lives (hopefully more!).
Highlights
- Carson hit great!  2nd best hitter on the team, but who's keeping track ;)
- Jordan was signing please and saying me walking to the tee during practice.
He was not happy with his own plastic bat and ball on the side.
- It only took Jason 25 minutes before he was on the field helping.

First game is August 1st!

Jordan wanted in on the team meeting too

New bike!

Carson got a bike a couple months ago that we took the pedals off of to use as a balance bike, but it was still to big and heavy for him.  So we got an actual balance bike for him and it arrived yesterday.  It is a little on the small side, but it doesn't seem to bother him.
Yesterday he did a good job of moving with his feet but was still getting used to the motion.  Today he was 'running' with his feet and picking them up and balancing.  At one point (with his feet up) he overcorrected while steering and got himself back straight without putting his feet down.  At this rate he might be on a full size kid bike without training wheels by the end of summer!
So excited for his new ride

Moving fast

Feet up!

Jordan Updates

Jordan has become a busy boy! He's walking (but close to running) and is up to four teeth.  I took off his teething necklace thinking we'd be good for a little while but he was cranky the next day, so I put it back on and we're doing better.  I see #5 starting to come in.
He is 'talking' quite a bit.  He's always been a babbler, but they are now becoming more consistent sounds with words.  Jordan says Mama, Dada, ME (he typically yells this one), ball, water (wawa). And learning new signs quickly; he does more, please, milk, airplane, all done and dog.  Jordan is getting big enough that the brothers are starting to rough house/fight over toys and Jordan holds his own against Carson.  There is a lot more tug-a-war going on in our home. Jordan has been pretty good with a fork for a few months, but just this week feed himself with a spoon without dumping his dinner everywhere.

Jason has also been working on Jordan's baseball swing.  Is 14 months too young for tball practice??  Not in the Andrew household!

Jordan's First Mariners Game

We took Jordan to his first Mariners game on Memorial Day.  We saw two home runs in the first inning and Carson was upset they weren't hit to his glove!

They had so much fun, the car ride home looked like this!

We have a mover

Thankfully he's still slow, but before I know it the boys will be running in differet directions!
